Bulletin of Mexican Herpetological Society A. C.

The Bulletin of the Sociedad Herpetológica Mexicana is the society's primary method of disseminating information. The objective of the bulletin is to serve as a medium of communication between herpetologists who study different areas of Latin American herpetology such as taxonomy, biogeography, morphology, behavioral biology, reproductive biology, ecology, natural history, etc... The bulletin is constituted of five sections, including Scientific Works, Scientific Notes, Thesis Abstracts, Literature Reviews, and General Announcements.

Authors who are interested in publishing in the bulletin need not be members of the S. H. M. However, it is important to note that the costs of publication (with the exception of customized graphic publishing, which must be paid by the authors) are covered by the membership and subscription fees.

Potential manuscripts must be sent to the Editor for revision. Please send three identical copies. The manuscripts will be reviewed by three associate editors and will be evaluated based on their scientific merit. Photocopies are adequate for the revision process. The authors should keep the original manuscript and the original illustrations until the manuscript has been accepted for publication. Please consult the "Contacts for Authors" page below to find the contact information pertaining to where manuscripts should be sent.

For more information on how to prepare manuscripts, please see the instructions below in our "Instructions for Authors" page. If you are interested in purchasing previous issues of the bulletin, please contact our the president of SHM Norma L. Manríquez. nrm292@gmail.com
